Meet Our Founder

Child Sleep Consultant

Hi my name is Kari Davis and I am the founder of Sleepy Bean Babies. I am the very proud mother of 4, and happily married to my amazingly supportive husband Alan. I am also extremely passionate about sleep training, and have successfully helped sleep train many precious infants and toddlers over the years. Early on in my motherhood journey I realized that no two children are alike, no two babies are alike.

I came up with my “green bean analogy” as I was raising our fourth child. (He was not like any other kid! He was sweet and he was mischievous!) I then conceived the concept that a green bean is just a green bean! They all kinda look similar, & you know what you are getting with a green bean!  Kiddos are definitely not green beans! They are wonderfully unique in every possible way! With that thought in mind I started my blog. My bean theory has evolved over the years and it has become a part of my life, and why I knew I needed to include it in my company name, Sleepy Bean Babies!

Our Methodology

How does the “green bean theory” work in my sleep training philosophy? Since no two little ones are alike, then one sleep training method does not fit all. That is why I work individually with each family. I meet with you either in person or over Face Time and I listen, help you problem solve, and I provide you with a plan that will be the best for your family.  I am available virtually and by text during your whole sleep training process. I don’t just provide you with a written sleep plan, I coach you every step of the way, and I’m there to promptly answer your questions. I also provide in home sleep training for your little one. I find that this process can be new and cause some parents anxiety. For that reason, I can be with you in your home or over the phone to support you. I look forward to hearing all about your little one and helping your whole family regain their precious sleep!

Let’s do this! I’m here to help!
